Committee details

Council decides overall policies and sets the Budget for the authority each year.

The Council Meeting also appoints the Leader of the Council for a four year term of office and the Chair of the Council and other positions on various committees and outside organisations annually.

Under the Constitution the public can ask questions at Council meetings.
