Notice is hereby given in accordance with Regulation 10 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012 that a report requiring a Key Decision will be considered by Cabinet, at its meeting on Thursday 27 February 2025. Notification of this Key Decision was not published on the Council’s website 28 clear days before it was due to be considered by Cabinet, as is required by these regulations.

   Purpose of the Report

Cabinet will be asked to agree the proposed North East Derbyshire UK Shared Prosperity Fund Programme for 2025-26.

   Reason for urgency:

EMCCA made its decision to allocate North East Derbyshire £1,050,067 of funding on 10 February 2025.  The funding for 2025-26 must be spent and projects delivered by 31 March 2026, therefore there is a need for a quick decision to enable work to begin on delivering the projects funded through the scheme.

The Chair of the Business Scrutiny Committee has been informed of the Key Decision to be taken in respect of the exempt report at the above meeting of Cabinet.
