In accordance with 13 (n) of the Council's Scrutiny Rules, notice is hereby given that the Call-in procedures has been waived in respect of this Key Decision. The Chair of Services Scrutiny Committee has agreed that the decision proposed is reasonable and to it being treated as a matter of urgency.

Authority for Decision: Contract Procedure Rules and Delegation Scheme. Assistant Directors’ Delegations - 9.1 To exercise within approved budgets all matters of day to day administration and operational management of the services and functions for which they are responsible where there is no direct delegation covering the matter. 9.13 To deal with procurement matters including procurement exercises and finalising subsequent contractual arrangements whilst at all times acting in accordance with the Council’s Finance Rules and Contract Procedure Rules. 9.15 To award revenue contracts where the value is above key decision level using a delegated decision notice or DD. For revenue contracts over £375k and capital contracts over £1m the details of the award will be notified to the Cabinet periodically.
