CCTV Exemption Report - Mr C - North Wingfield To consider whether to grant an exception from complying with the requirements of the Taxi Licensing Policy: Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle (CCTV Supplement). Paragraphs 1 & 3 Minutes: The applicant was present at the meeting and confirmed receipt of the report and procedure to be followed at the meeting.
The Sub-Committee requested to Licensing officers that the issue of whether or not damage to the CCTV cameras could void the warranties should be clarified after the meeting.
The Sub-Committee considered the report of the Environmental Health Team Manager (Licensing). The purpose of the report was to consider whether to grant an exception from complying with the requirements of the Taxi Licensing Policy: Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle (CCTV Supplement).
RESOLVED - Grant the exception for any vehicle operated by the applicant with a plate exemption, subject to evidence being provided to the Council (to be considered by the Licensing Manager and the Chair) that the identified vehicles are used for 100% Executive transportation (as defined in the Council’s policy).
