RESOLVED – That Councillor Martin E Thacker MBE JP be elected Chair for this meeting of the General Licensing Sub-Committee.

v    To consider whether an applicant is ‘Fit and Proper’ to hold a Hackney

          Carriage/Private Hire Vehicle Driver’s License – Mr M Sheffield.

(Paragraph 1)

Minutes:

The applicant was present at the meeting and confirmed receipt of the report and procedure to be followed at the meeting.

 

The Sub-Committee considered the report of the Environmental Health Team Manager (Licensing). The purpose of the report was to consider whether the applicant was a ‘Fit and Proper’ person to hold a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Vehicle Driver’s Licence with North East Derbyshire District Council.

 

RESOLVED – That the decision of the Licensing Sub-Committee (in exercise of its powers delegated by North East Derbyshire District Council as a Licensing Authority) was to:

 

1.               REFUSE the Licence.
