Report of the Environmental Health Team Manager (Licensing) - Mr R, Sheffield To consider whether an applicant is ‘Fit and Proper’ to hold a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Vehicle Driver’s Licence. (Paragraph 1) Minutes: The applicant was present at the meeting and confirmed receipt of the report and procedure to be followed at the meeting.
The panel noted that this applicant’s case was deferred at the General Licensing Sub Committee meeting on 30 April 2024. He was referred to as Mr K R on that agenda.
The Sub-Committee considered the report of the Environmental Health Team Manager (Licensing). The purpose of the report was to consider if the applicant remains a ‘Fit and Proper’ person to hold a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Vehicle Driver’s Licence with North East Derbyshire District Council.
RESOLVED – Grant the application. |

(Paragraph 1) Minutes: The applicant was present at the meeting and confirmed receipt of the report and procedure to be followed at the meeting.
The Sub-Committee considered the report of the Environmental Health Team Manager (Licensing). The purpose of the report was to consider if the applicant remains a ‘Fit and Proper’ person to hold a Hackney Carriage/Private Hire Vehicle Driver’s Licence with North East Derbyshire District Council.
The applicant submitted detailed evidence to the panel during the meeting which Members and officers had not been given notice of. The panel agreed to adjourn the meeting to allow Licensing officers time to research and clarify the evidence.
RESOLVED – That the meeting be adjourned to reconvene on 25 June 2024. |
