RESOLVED – That Councillor H Liggettbe elected Chair for this meeting of the General Licensing Sub-Committee.

“That the public be excluded from the meeting during the discussion of the following items of business to avoid the disclosure to them of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 1 and 3, Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended by the Local Government (Access to Information) (Variation) Order 2006)”.

The applicant was present at the meeting and confirmed receipt of the report and procedure to be followed at the meeting.

The Sub-Committee considered the report of the Environmental Health Team Manager (Licensing). The purpose of the report was to consider whether to grant an exception from complying with the requirements of the Taxi Licensing Policy: Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle (CCTV Supplement).

RESOLVED – That the decision of the Licensing Sub-Committee (in exercise of its powers delegated by North East Derbyshire District Council as a Licensing Authority) was to:

REFUSE the application.

To consider whether to grant an exception from complying with the requirements of the Taxi Licensing Policy: Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle (CCTV Supplement).

The applicant was not present at the meeting. The Sub Committee moved and seconded to defer the application to a future Sub Committee meeting.
