Councillor N Barker nominated Councillor C Cupit. This was seconded by Councillor A Powell.

RESOLVED – That Councillor C Cupit be appointed as Chair for the meeting.

An apology for absence had been received from Councillor A Dale.

Members are requested to declare the existence and nature of any disclosable pecuniary interest and/or other interest, not already on their register of interests, in any item on the agenda and withdraw from the meeting at the appropriate time. 

There were no Declarations of Interest.

RESOLVED - That the public be excluded from the meeting during the discussion of the following item(s) of business to avoid the disclosure to them of exempt information as defined in Paragraphs 1, 2 & 3, Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972, (as amended by the Local Government (Access to Information) (Variation) Order 2006).

Mr Chris Mills was interviewed for the post of Assistant Director – Leisure at North East Derbyshire District Council.

RESOLVED - The Mr Chris Mills be appointed to the post of Assistant Director – Leisure at North East Derbyshire District Council.

Two candidates were interviewed for the post of Assistant Director -Transformation & Communication at North East Derbyshire District Council.

RESOLVED - The Panel agreed to reconvene on Thursday, 17 February 2022 to continue the selection process for the above post.

There was no urgent business considered at this meeting.
