The Environmental Health Team Manager (Licensing) presented a report to consider the responses to the Gambling Act 2005 policy consultation and a proposal to recommend the draft Gambling Act 2005 policy for adoption at Council.

 

Members were informed that a 12 week public consultation had been carried out through the Ask Derbyshire website, the Council’s website and social media platforms as well as directly writing to a number of stakeholders. 

 

The Environmental Health Team Manager (Licensing) explained that Licensing officers received one response to the consultation from Derbyshire Constabulary noting the contents of the Policy and with no further comments to add. 

 

RESOLVED

 

(1)          That the Committee noted the outcome of the public consultation. 

 

(2)          That the Committee approved the proposed Gambling Act 2005 Policy and Local Area Profile and recommended the draft Gambling Act 2005 Policy for adoption at Council.
