Decision:

To make a Temporary Road Closure Order under Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847. The direct roads to be closed are; Holymoor Road (from the Village Hall), Loads Road, Longside Road, Harewood Road, New Road, Cotton Mill Lane, Holymoorside on Sunday 8th May 2022 from 10:15am to 12:15pm.

Reasons for the decision:

To enable 1st Holymoorside Scout Group’s annual Holymoorside 10K Road Race to take place

Alternative options considered:

There are no other options available for this event and it will not go ahead without the Temporary Road Closure being in place.
