To make a Temporary Road Closure Order under
Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 for a Remembrance
Day procession on Sunday 10th November 2024 from 8:30-10am and
10:45-11:30am on a rolling basis along part of Fanshaw Road and
B6052 with a Stationary Road Closure at the War Memorial during the
wreath laying ceremony
Reasons for the decision:
To enable Eckington Town Council to hold their
Remembrance Day Parade
Alternative options considered:
There are no other options available for this
event and it will not go ahead without the Temporary Road Closure
being in place.
