Formation of sponsorship agreement in respect
of traffic island at the junction of Ashover Road and Nethermoor
Road (A61) Tupton by Paul Malyon Estate Gardeners for an initial
period of six months.
Reasons for the decision:
To support the Council's Corporate Priorities
by ensuring high standards of local environment are delivered by
attracting sponsorship to provide funding to enhance amenity value
of the District's Streetscene.
Alternative options considered:
A doing nothing approach is not considered in
the best interest of the Council and its Streetscene.
Income generation to enhance and support maintenance of our
Streetscene at this traffic island follows like approach adopted at
other locations throughout the district.
