To make a new Tree Preservation Order on a linear area of Trees to the west of Cripton Lane and Bath Lane, Ashover

It has been deemed appropriate to replace TPO1 Ashover with individual smaller area/group/woodland and individual TPOs this is one of the areas deemed appropriate
The trees, by reason of their size, shape and location are considered to significantly contribute to the leafy character and visual amenity of the area.
There is a perceived threat to the trees in this area due to local approved and potential development applications

There is one other option and that’s to not make the order but that requires the council ignore the possible risk of losing important trees and this is not considered a suitable alternative.
