To make a new Tree Preservation Order on an area of trees at The Bourne, Moor Road, Ashover

It has been deemed appropriate to replace Interim TPO1 (Ashover) with individual smaller areas/groups/woodlands and individual TPOs. This is one of the areas of trees deemed appropriate.
The trees, by reason of their size, shape and location are considered to significantly contribute to the leafy character and amenity of the area by reason of the local visibility and wider prominence in the landscape, being visible from within and across the Amber valley.
Some of the trees are also under threat due to applications submitted

There is one other option and that’s to not make the order but that requires the council ignore the possible risk of losing important trees and this is not considered a suitable alternative.
