attached Senior Management Structure.
Following the departure of the Director of
Growth there is an immediate need to make arrangements for the
management at a senior level. The need is to ensure there is
capacity to manage effectively at a senior level. This will enable
Senior Management to progress major schemes now in
progress.
To advertise and recruit to the post of
Director of Growth.
This was rejected due to the time the process would take (6-12
months before a new Director would start), the difficulties
recruiting at this time and most importantly that the work of the
Council in terms of major projects needs pursuing actively from now
to hit target dates.
