To make the NEDDC ASB in Clay Cross Public
Spaces Protection Order 2023 for a period of 3 years commencing 15
July 2024.
The aim of the Order is to improve the
enjoyment of public spaces for people and reduce anti-social
behaviour caused by people and behaviours in the area.
The draft renewal Order has received support from Statutory
Consultees and members of the public.
This will give Police extra powers. Calls for
Service to the Council and the Police show there has been an
increase in the aspect of ASB and the tools and powers already
tried have not reduced the calls.
