Decision:

To extend the existing maintenance contract for the Gov Delivery application used by NEDDC with the existing supplier Granicus for a further 36 months. The contracts are on the G-Cloud Framework. The total value of the contract will be under £22,000.

Reasons for the decision:

The current software used for contacting customers GovDelivery provides a unique integration between this newsletter/email delivery system and the Councils CRM (GovService). This specific function isn’t currently something that is available from another supplier. By entering a three year contract the Council can secure a fixed price saving the Council money.

The Frameworks have already secured competitive contracts for Government use.

Alternative options considered:

Alternative software would not provide the current integration capabilities with our existing CRM.
