Authority for Decision: 9.1 To exercise within approved budgets all matters of day to day administration and operational management of the services and functions for which they are responsible. 9.13 To deal with procurement matters acting at all times within the Council’s Financial and Contract Procurement Rules. 4.1C The work to be executed or the goods or services to be supplied constitutes an extension to an existing contract and it is the view of the Senior Officer that it would not be in the interest of the service or the Council to tender the contract. The Senior Officer or his or her nominee should consult with the Procurement Service and a record of the decision must be placed on the project file.
