Approval is granted to commission Templar Roofing Services Ltd to carry out investigatory work to establish the cause of ongoing leaks to the Gym/Reception Foyer roof and to carry out repairs to damaged underground drainage at Dronfield Sports Centre for the sum of £1,287.00 / £4,650.00 (budget code G201 2121).

During 2014/2015 Dronfield Sports Centre underwent extensive refurbishment which had initially included works to establish the cause of ongoing roof leaks and underground drainage issues. Early 2015, approaching the end of the contracted works Wood Mitchell Contracting (main contractor) went into receivership resulting in elements of contracted work remaining incomplete.

During the contract period Templar Roofing Service Ltd were sub-contracted to Wood Mitchell Contracting Ltd to carry out roofing / drainage works and as such are familiar with the ongoing issues and therefore regarded as best placed to carry out the necessary remedial works. In addition, prior to Wood Mitchell going into receivership it was intended that Templar Roofing be issued instruction to carry out both the roof leak investigation and below ground drainage repair works.

Roof Leak - Templar Roofing had carried out initial investigation works into the roof leak during the contract works to determine alternative solutions which due to the nature of the leak have remained indeterminate.

Underground Drainage - A CCTV survey was commissioned by Templar Roofing to investigate the underground drainage issues to determine the most appropriate solution. The findings of this investigation form the basis of their quotation.
