To make a Temporary Road Closure Order under
Section 21 of the Town Police Clauses Act 1847 for a Remembrance
Day procession on Sunday 13th November 2016 from 2.30pm to 4.30pm
on Queen Victoria Road, Tupton from the junction with North Side,
Tupton, to the junction with Bridgewater Street and including Green
Lane from the junction with Queen Victoria Road, up to the Village
Hall car park, Green Lane, Tupton.
Reasons for the decision:
To enable Tupton Parish Council to hold their
Remembrance Day Parade.
Alternative options considered:
There are no other options available for this
event and it will not go ahead without the Temporary Road Closure
being in place.
