To modify the staffing structure within the
Business Development Team to replace the "Senior GIS Officer" and
"GIS Officer" roles with two posts covering LLPG and GIS
responsibilities and commence recruitment in to this currently
vacant post.
The strategy development and management is now
undertaken by the Business Development Manager. The two junior
roles defined will now provide flexible project and operational
skills to deliver the statutory obligations around the Local Land
and property gazetteer (LLPG) and the delivery of the GIS
Strategy.
Full consultation with the existing staff member has been
undertaken and HR have been involved in the process
throughout.
Leaving the structure as is was rejected as
this would not provide the flexibility of resource to deliver
against the approved strategy and statutory obligations.
